How should the footrest be adjusted correctly?

Ergonomic sitting is only possible if the footrest is adjusted correctly. An important prerequisite is first of all the correct adjustment of the chair. You have reached the correct sitting height when your upper arms are vertical and your forearms rest parallel to the desk surface.

Your thighs should then rest horizontally on the chair and form an angle of at least 90° with your lower legs. This prevents unnecessary pressure on the thighs, which could otherwise lead to circulatory problems.

For many people, the feet may then no longer rest fully on the floor. A flexible footrest can help here by bridging the distance between the soles of the feet and the floor.

It is also important to change your working posture and sitting position several times throughout the day, as this is the only way to prevent health problems in the long term.
